Sprawling Flatiron pad with glass-enclosed garden wants $12.8M

The 4,200-square-foot home comes with three bedrooms, three bathrooms

Located within the landmarked Photo Arts Building, close to Union Square, this massive condo spans 4,200 square feet and comes with three-bedrooms and three-bathrooms, and has been described as “a home of impeccable distinction and style,” as the per listing.

The apartment certainly isn’t lacking for high-end finishes whether its the Stone Italiana floors in the sunken living room, the dining table that seats 10 or the electric fireplace that comes in the master bathroom.

A private elevator entrance opens up into the foyer of the condo. The large living room, which spans 800-square-feet, is just beyond that and comes fitted with an aluminum and stone slab ethanol fireplace. The home comes with tons of geometric light fixtures and nine-foot-tall doors.

The kitchen, equipped with a breakfast bar, stands to the left of the living room, and includes several high-end Gaggenau and Miele appliances including an integrated coffee machine.

The bedroom is to the right of the living room, and comes with not one, but two walk-in closets. This bedroom is separated from the living room by a double-sided glass wall that features bare tree trunks and greenery inside—an indoor garden of sorts, if you will (it’s been described as an atrium in the floorplan).

The adjacent master bathroom comes with a free-standing tub and a glass walk-in shower apart from the above-mentioned fireplace. There’s a laundry room in the unit as well that comes with its own washer and dryer.

All of this of course does not come cheap. The condo is asking $12.8 million and has exorbitant monthly taxes at $3,124 and common charges of $1,710.
