Victoria’s Secret Angel lists East Village penthouse for $6,200/month

Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel has put her heavenly East Village penthouse on the rental market for $6,200 a month, reports the New York Post. The South African model bought the two-bedroom, two-bath pad at 311 East 11th St. for $1.35 million back in 2010. But in October, she and her longtime partner Hermann Nicoli—also a model—had their first child, and according to the Post’s “spies,” the pair “needed bigger digs” for their newly expanded family.

So what’s it like inside the apartment belonging to Forbes’s 8th-highest-paid model in the world? Well-lit, white, and spare—so not exactly overflowing with character. But the place has a lot functionally going for it, and the wide-open living room spills out onto a quaint-seeming balcony. The kitchen is thoroughly modern, and the master bathroom is huge.

The building, too, comes with plenty of amenities: Village Green has a 24/7 doorman, a gym, a lounge, and bike storage. True to its name, the building is LEED Gold-certified, so it’s about as eco-friendly as luxury living gets. And given Swanepoel’s much-chronicled Jack Russell terriers, pets are allowed.
