The brokerbabble calls this four-bedroom condo a “luxurious mega retreat in the sky,” and it’s true: if you can get past the pedigree of the building—the apartment is in Trump World Tower—the $12.995 million sky palace has quite a lot going for it. (And it certainly doesn’t look like an apartment you’d expect in a Trump-branded building.)
The home’s east wing (it’s that kind of place) houses an exceedingly well-appointed custom kitchen, the first of two, equipped with Caesarstone counters and brand-name appliances. There’s also a spectacularly windowed dining room, and a similarly sunny living room with a wine station and a disappearing TV (!), as well as a “resplendent” Maccasar ebony media room. The “master chamber” is nestled at the far end of the east wing, and offers an ensuite marble bath and sizable walk-in closets.
The west wing, meanwhile, has a second Kosher/catering kitchen, two more bedrooms, another living area, and a library. And, true to its price tag, the home comes decked out with a laundry list of amenities, including specialized art rails (enhanced by a specialized lighting system) and a Savant Home Automation Control system.
Newly re-listed by Corcoran at a significant discount, the place, previously repped by Levan, was asking $16 million as of November, down from $18.5 million in April 2015. That’s not too surprising, though, given the real-estate predictions about buildings owned by the current president-elect.
