The duplex apartment also boasts views of the East River

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

The listing description for this $795,000 Financial District studio doesn’t specify the square footage, but judging from the photos and floorplans, this is a pretty spacious loft we’re looking at. There’s a few things that contribute to this assumption: there are 16-foot beamed ceilings on the main level and oversized windows that provide optimal natural light, for starters but that isn’t where it ends.

The open living and dining room are also where a large set of stairs lead to the lofted sleep space where the ceiling height isn’t as generous (only six feet, to be exact), but assuming your not extremely tall, it’s workable. This area also features a huge walk-in closet that is just one of two within the entire apartment along with an additional two smaller storage spaces.

Back on the main level, the small “state-of-the-art” kitchen has been furnished with lovely dark wood custom cabinetry, Calacatta Gold marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

For those amenities aren’t enticing enough, there are views of the East River and nearby Hanover Square Park. As for the building, it offers 24-hour concierge, common storage space, and close proximity to the newly opened Oculus and several other stores and restaurants.
