The brokerbabble boasts that “not a penny was spared” for this “oasis in the sky,” and indeed, the place is pretty spectacular, especially if you’re into the color white.
The two-bedroom loft-style pad features three gorgeous bay windows with stunning lower Manhattan views, heated concrete flooring throughout (off-white), and rich walnut panelling in the foyer (looks great with white). The chef’s kitchen has tons of counter space and an embarrassment of storage; the white master bedroom offers a drop-down movie screen and four stunning arched windows — views of all kinds! — while the white en-suite bath is equipped with pretty much every imaginable bathroom luxury, including (white) his-and-hers sinks and a (white) free-standing tub. (The marble tiles, on the other hand, are a tasteful accent gray.)
It’s the 1,000-plus-square-foot private roof, though, that really takes the place over the top: in addition to the view, the roof has an al fresco dining area, Viking appliances, and fully functioning jacuzzi.
At $20,000 a month, the condo is not what one would call a bargain, but then, not every apartment can list a “large salt water fish tank” among its many amenities.
