A lottery for 29 new affordable apartments in Clinton Hill is now open, according to a listing that was posted on Friday by NYC Housing Connect (h/t Brick Underground).

The apartments are in the newly-constructed 504 Myrtle Avenue,, an eight-story, 143-apartment mixed-use building. The affordable apartments range from studios to two-bedrooms, and are available to renters with an income between $30,206 to $54,360.

The building’s ground floor will have 20,304 square feet of retail space, with the rest of the floors giving way to apartments that average 736 square feet, according to YIMBY. There are plenty of plush amenities too, like a fitness center, bike storage, an "outdoor workout terrace," a rooftop deck with a lounge, dining, barbecue areas, and laundry facilities.

This small stretch of Myrtle Avenue is undergoing a healthy dose of new development, thanks to developer Madison Realty Company. 504 Myrtle Avenue residents will be neighbors to the reopened Pratt Station Post Office and another rental apartment building, The Refinery.

Preference for half of the affordable units will go to residents of Brooklyn Community Board 2. Applicants can apply online via NYC Housing Connect or by sending a self-addressed envelope to 504 Myrtle Avenue c/o Breaking Ground, PO Box 760, New York, NY 10018. The deadline for applications is February 1st, 2017.
