Yet another of the historic buildings in Soho's Cast Iron District is going condo, joining recent developments at 40 Wooster Street and 25 Mercer Street, among others. The AION Partners-backed condos at 63 Greene Street launched sales today, with six of its 15 apartments now on the market. The 19th-century building was converted into a condo in the past few years, but some of its historic details remain, including oversized windows and cast-iron columns in some of the apartments. The units also have many of the features that are de rigueur for new developments: custom cabinetry, white oak flooring, marble finishes, high-end kitchen appliances, the list goes on. Building features include a roof terrace and bike storage. The apartments that are now available range from a one-bedroom, two-bathroom unit for $2.4 million, to a four-bedroom penthouse (with a private terrace) for $12.95 million.
