A 20-story condominium building is planned at 200 East 21st Street, a.k.a. 253-261 Third Avenue, in Gramercy. Alfa Development is behind the plans and acquired the property for $69.6 million in 2015, The Real Deal reported. BKSK is the architect of record, and the building’s 65 units will range from one- to four-bedrooms.
The report said pricing will probably be in line with the Alfa development at 151 West 21st Street in Chelsea–in other words, $800,000 to $8.8 million. Permits to demolish the existing buildings at the Gramercy site have already been granted.
