Plans for the 14-story building also include 206 hotel rooms

Renderings have emerged for a massive, mixed-use project set to rise in Flushing, YIMBY reports. Plans call for the construction of 134 condos and 206 hotel rooms at this proposed 14-story building at 134-03 35th Avenue.

Plans were filed over a year ago, but construction is yet to get underway. The project is being developed by Chris Xu and his development firm, Century Construction and Development Group. They're also behind a proposed 79-story high rise in Long Island City.

The plot in Flushing is currently occupied by a building supply company that's also owned by Xu. The 207,000 square foot, My Architect PC-designed project will also include six retail outlets, a restaurant, and a community center.

The hotel will be located on the first five floors and the apartments above that. The lower floors will also have space for amenities like a gym and a laundry. Plans also call for 223 parking spaces underground.

The project may break ground later this year, according to YIMBY.
