It's only a matter of months until 30 Park Place welcomes its first visitors, as the Four Seasons Hotel that'll occupy its lower floors (along with a spiffy new Wolfgang Puck restaurant) is scheduled to open in July. The (imitation) limestone pillar, designed by Robert A.M. Stern, is well on its way to looking like its renderings, as a new batch of photos from NYConstructionPhoto shows: The skyscraper is now fully sheathed, and scaffolding has come down from much of the lower portion of the structure.
Meanwhile, work continues on the upper floors, which will hold several ridiculously over-the-top penthouses (one of which just hit the market last week). It looks like things may actually be on track for that anticipated opening.
