Greenpoint Landing's Second Affordable Building Rents From $494/Month

Has a total of 97 apartments

The second of three affordable building at the Greenpoint Landing megaproject has now unveiled its housing lottery. 33 Eagle Street features a total of 97 apartments that range in size from studios to two-bedrooms.

In the lowest income threshold, three studios apartments are available for $494 per month to an individual making between $18,275-$24,200 per year. The priciest are ten two-bedroom apartments going for $2,216 per month for a range of family sizes and incomes.

Amenities in the building include a laundry room, a bicycle room, a gym, and a landscaped community garden.

There are a total of three affordable buildings being constructed as part of Greenpoint Landing. 21 Commercial Street has already topped out and the affordable housing lottery launched there back in December last year. The other affordable building is taking shape at 5 Blue Slip and will have 103 apartments.

Developed by the Park Tower Group, in partnership with L+M Development on the three affordable buildings, the Greenpoint Landing megaproject will bring a total of 5,500 apartments to the neighborhood spread throughout 10 buildings on a 22 acre site.
