Vacant Bed-Stuy Lot Sprouting Nine Apartments

The units are rentals and will be one- and three-bedrooms.

A vacant lot between Stuyvesant Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant is the site of a growing rental project. YIMBY, which published the first rendering this morning, reports the lot at 655 Quincy Street will hold nine units in its four stories. Ground was broken in February and the steel structure is already 30 feet up.

The project was designed by Input Creative Studio and is being developed by Mayer Meisels. There will be six three-bedrooms and three one-bedrooms. Upper floor units will have terraces and everyone will have access to a 225-square-foot roof deck. Construction is expected to be completed this summer.
