A rendering has been unveiled for a 13-story rental building set to rise in East Harlem, 6sqft reports. When we last reported on the project, plans had been filed for an apartment building with 52 units. Now that number has increased to 95 apartments.
The project is being developed by Next City Real Estate who purchased the site (technically two sites) in 2013 for $5.75 million. Next City subsequently demolished a couple of two-story buildings at the site to make way for the rental.
Amenities in the IBI Group-designed building include a roof deck and bike storage. Plans also call for retail and an ambulatory facility on the ground floor.
