Tribeca Film Festival Founders Seek $39M For Lovely Dakota Apartment

Partners Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff are selling their Upper West Side pad

Along with Robert De Niro, film producer Jane Rosenthal and author Craig Hatkoff founded the Tribeca Film Festival in 2002; but despite the event's downtown pedigree, the married couple has kept an uptown address at the Dakota, one of the city's toniest buildings. But no more: The couple recently listed their five-bedroom, seven-bathroom pad for $39 million, according to the Real Deal.

The apartment is actually a combination of four apartments, creating one mega-apartment measuring more than 7,500 square feet. Because of this, there are entire wings dedicated to things like an enormous master suite, a children's playroom, or a combination great room/formal dining room. (It also has northern, southern, and eastern exposures.)

Seriously, look at this floorplan:

Other amenities in the pricey pad include two wood-burning fireplaces, large windows throughout, and a master bath that's basically as big as a micro-apartment. Thus, the $39 million asking price.
