the building will be 105 feet tall

A new 10-story hotel is set to replace a parking lot on Lower East Side, the Low-Down reports. Located just a block away from the Hester Street Playground, the building will stand 105-feet tall and span just over 13,000 square feet of space, according to a Department of Buildings pre-filing application.

The 25-foot lot was purchased for $5.3 million last month by the "Eldridge Hotel LLC," according to property records. Osher Niyazov, who is also planning a hotel in the South Bronx, is listed as the new owner of the property.
