Construction work is nearly complete on the 280-unit development at 535 West 43rd Street, and with that developers have provided Curbed with exclusive photos of the model homes at the project.
The apartments in this CetraRuddy-designed building are spread out between two 14-story towers that are joined by a multi-level courtyard. Although CetraRuddy handled many of the exterior and interior spaces, Tamara Eaton Design is behind the staged model units pictured here.
The two buildings feature apartments that range in size from studios to two-bedrooms, and 62 of the total 280 apartments are affordable.
Developed by DHA Capital and Patrinely Group, 535W43, as the building is stylized, "features a uniquely tailored scent and sound that reflect the building’s personality and atmosphere, creating an unparalleled experience for residents at all times of day and night," according to the project description.
The 20,000 square feet of amenities in the building include a pet spa, a yoga studio, a demonstration kitchen, a landscaped rooftop, and a fitness center.
Rents for the market rate units will start in the low $3,000s, more information for which is expected to be released in the next couple of weeks. The development's full website also recently went live.
When the project was first introduced a few years ago it was listed at 546 West 44th Street and had slightly different renderings, but apart from that most of the details have remained the same. Several floorplans for the building can also be accessed on its website.
