43-25 Hunter Street Rises Over Long Island City

It will be the fourth tallest building in Queens.

There’s a new high-rise poking up into the skyline of Long Island City. 43-25 Hunter Street, located right on the corner with 44th Road in booming Court Square, is now over 35-stories-tall, as seen in photos posted by YIMBY. It will eventually rise 50 stories to 509 feet, making it the fourth tallest building in Queens. It will also be among the largest residential buildings in the city, covering 921,592 square feet and containing 974 units. Rockrose Development is behind the project, with SLCE Architects designing it. Both have been doing plenty of work in Long Island City.
