First Look At the Nevins, Boerum Hill's Latest Luxury Development

The condo development's 73 apartments are actually moderately affordable

In the past few years, Boerum Hill has seen the rise of quite a few condo developments, including The Boerum and the Morris Adjmi-designed 465 Pacific. Now, we can add The Nevins to that list: the building, located at 319 Schermerhorn Street, launched a teaser site today, and sales for its 73 condos are expected to launch sometime this spring. (It's on the corner of Nevins and Schermerhorn, hence the name.)

Some more details on those apartments: The units will be a mix of studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedrooms, with some units taking up entire floors. Prices aren't totally ridiculous for this development, with studios beginning at $500,000 and one-bedrooms at $800,000; amenities will include a playroom, a roof terrace, and a residents' lounge. Isaac & Stern is designing the building, which will rise 21 stories; interiors are taken care of by Andres Escobar & Associates.

The building is already well on its way to completion, as the construction photo below shows, and occupancy is expected by 2017.
