A lot can happen in less than two months. Back in February, the 62-story residential tower at Three Manhattan West, a.k.a. 401 West 31st Street, was halfway to its final height. On Friday, it topped out. The 844-unit building is and 80/20 project, which means 20 percent of the units will be affordable housing. Amenities will include a regulation-sized basketball court and a climbing wall. Residents are expected to move into the Brookfield-developed, SLCE Architects-designed building in early 2017, with completion by that fall.
