Name anyone who might be an authority on how to get a good night's sleep, anyone at all. Is Arianna Huffington on that list? No? Well, the media mogul wants to change that. Huffington has penned a book, The Sleep Revolution, about how to achieve your best sleep, and to market said book is letting one lucky winner and a guest stay in her New York City apartment overnight. The contest is accompanied by an Airbnb listing with gratuitous pictures of Huffington's Soho apartment where the winner will find themselves luxuriating in Arianna's "sleep sanctuary."
The contest comes with a lot of stipulations for the winner, among them "No spicy food before bed," and "Sorry, Mr. Snuffles: No pets on the bed," but the most interesting detail about the whole shebang are the pictures of Huffington's Mercer Street abode, which she purchased for a little over $8 million in 2013. Since that time, it looks like Huffington's thoroughly de-contemporized the apartment and has exposed its formerly walled columns and added all the puffy silk table skirts and curtains one would expect to find on, say, the Upper East Side.
