Robert A.M. Stern’s 220 Central Park South Is Getting Its Limestone Facade

New, 23 comments

The planned 66-story building has reached its 24th floor so far

Work is moving along rapidly at Robert A.M. Stern's Central Park-facing high-rise, 220 Central Park South. New photos by Field Condition reveal that the planned 66-story building has finished construction up to the 24th floor.

When complete, this soaring, 950-foot tall building will have 87 condos, about half of which have already sold out.

Construction has been moving swiftly since we last checked in with the project back in February this year. The building's limestone facade is also being installed at the moment with work on some of the lower levels already complete.

The project is expected to wrap up construction sometime next year.
