Both the penthouse of Zaha Hadid's 520 West 28th Street and two penthouses in Herzog & de Meuron's 56 Leonard hit the market today, asking a grand total of $102.25 million. ↑ The penthouse of the first and last New York City residential building expressly designed by the late Zaha Hadid hit the market today asking $50 million. The price tag is no surprise. Since sales first launched in the High Line-adjacent building back in October, it's been reported that the 7,000-square-foot penthouse would ask just that. Now the penthouse is availing itself to the public for the first time alongside a new rendering of its 2,500-square-feet of outdoor space. The five-bedroom triplex will be connected by a sculptural staircase designed by Hadid and have direct elevator access as well as an elevator within the apartment. Thought the price tag was a eye-popping? Its combined monthly common charges and taxes are $28,146.
↑ The two final sponsor units in Herzog & de Meuron's Jenga-like tower of glass in Tribeca came back to market today after a somewhat lengthy hiatus. The smaller of the two penthouses, a 3,709-square-foot half-floor spread on the 52nd floor with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, is back asking $17.75 million. The larger penthouse is asking $34.5 million and takes the whole 58th floor. It covers 5,849 square feet and has five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. Both penthouses come with a custom kitchen island sculpted of Absolute Black granite that's shaped like a grand piano and topped by a custom floating hood.
