It's been two years since Issac & Stern and Hadas revealed their design for an industrial-inspired building on Greenpoint's Box Street that, coincidentally, looks just like a box. Seven of the building's 39 apartments are now on the rental market (and have been since last week) with listings that provide a first glimpse into the project in the northern reaches of the neighborhood.
The seven rentals now on the market range from a $2,446 for studio to a $3,692 two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, but unreleased apartments will start at $2,154 for a studio. Inspired by the neighborhood's manufacturing past, 72 Box Street really sticks to its industrial theme on the inside as much as it does on the outside. So far as industrial interior design goes, the apartments have polished concrete ceilings, stainless steel countertops, casement windows, and views onto the Pulaski Bridge entrance.
Residents will have access to a common landscaped terrace and roof deck, elevator, bike storage, and on-site parking.
