The 12-story building will have six full-floor apartments, two duplex penthouses, and a townhouse

A former Hershey factory in Chelsea being converted into a six-story condo building now has a teaser website. Located at 117 West 21st Street, the project will see the conversion of a four-story commercial building into a nine-unit project comprising of six, full-floor apartments, two duplex penthouses, and one townhouse.

The Amirian Group purchased the current building at the site last year for $28.5 million, and subsequently roped in GRADE Architecture to design the 12-story condo project. The developers released several renderings for the project back in December, and now they’ve followed that up with a website teaser launch.

Developers have come up with a name for the project too — The Twenty 1 — and they’re describing it as a "boutique, white glove building." Douglas Elliman’s Andrew Azouley team will be handling the sales and marketing on the project.
