Just a month after he listed his East Village co-op on the market, actor Alan Cumming has already found a buyer for the four-bedroom apartment, the Observer reports. Overlooking Tompkins Square Park, the apartment is located on the third floor of a redbrick row house that was constructed in the mid-19th century.
The apartment only features one bathroom however, but the listing agents at Douglas Elliman previously told the Wall Street Journal that an additional one could be added. Cumming and his husband Grant Shaffer purchased this apartment for $1.695 million in 2005, and had listed it for $2.2 million. The couple purchased a nearby townhouse for $4.65 million in 2013, and plan to move in there come September.
