The World Trade Center campus’s one-acre elevated park is on track for its summer opening. In fact, a Port Authority rep confirmed to DNAinfo that the long-anticipated Liberty Park will open next week. The park is planted with over 50 trees, and as of last week workers were installing a green wall along the service vehicle entrance that the park sits on top of. An exact opening date for the park will be announced by Port Authority towards the end of the week. In the meantime, enjoy a few photos of the park via WTC Progress. UPDATE: The Port Authority has announced that the park will open on June 29!
