For $21M, an Upper East Side Townhouse With Tons of Outdoor Space

New, 5 comments

This seemingly narrow home is really quite spacious

Located on the Upper East Side between Madison and Park avenues is 46 East 83rd Street, a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom townhouse covering seven floors. For a space so grand it's price tag must be grand too, and it is at $21 million. Judging from the listing photo of its exterior, the home looks incredibly narrow, yet its interior photos depict quite the opposite. The house appears to be spacious and allows for lots of natural light throughout.

Three of the townhouse's bedrooms have their own balconies. Others have non-wood-burning fireplaces. The townhouse also comes equipped with an elevator, media room, gym, sauna, four powder rooms, a wine cellar complete with a tasting area, and a bamboo garden. As if that all isn’t enough, there’s also a penthouse floor, complete with south and north terraces, a built-in Wolf barbecue, outdoor shower, and a fire pit. All in all, if there’s an amenity you can think of, this house probably has it.
