Howard Hughes's Pier 17 Mall Is Getting Glassy

New, 1 comment

The four-story structure is being designed by SHoP Architects

After having topped out a couple of months ago, facade work is now well underway at Howard Hughes Corporation’s Pier 17 project, YIMBY reports, based on several new construction photos courtesy of Tectonic. The four-story building was designed by SHoP Architects, and the tenants announced here so far include the Momofuku Group and Jean Georges. The design essentially envisions two buildings connected on the upper floors. The roof will feature a green space that will likely be used for concerts, and there are also plans for adding a restaurant, bar in that area along with indoor and outdoor seating.
