Construction is already underway on 196 Orchard, the development rising next to the iconic Katz’s Delicatessen, though the project isn’t expected to be completed until next year. But new renderings for the project are now available, as first reported by YIMBY, offering a peek inside the development for the first time.
The new images show off some of the building’s common spaces, including a roof deck that has views of the Empire State Building (according to the rendering, anyway). There are also some looks at the apartments themselves, including a living room and bathroom.
There are also new details on the building’s pricing, with the 94 apartments broken down thusly: 15 studios will go from $1.075 million; 44 one-bedrooms will start at $1.275 million; 28 two-bedrooms will start at $2.285 million; five three-bedrooms will be available from $4.2 million; and two four-bedrooms will start at $4.95 million. Sales, which will be handled by Compass, are expected to launch sometime in the fall.
