Another BAM Cultural District tower in Fort Greene is making progress with the facade work on The Ashland at 250 Ashland Place nearing completion, YIMBY reports. The 51-story building (previously 52) features 585 apartments, just about half of which were offered as affordable units this past February.
Apartments at the Gotham Organization-developed building range in size from studios to three bedrooms with apartments averaging just under 850-square-feet. The building also has over 24,000 square feet of commercial space with that being divvied amongst retail on the cellar level, a restaurant on the first floor, and office space on the second floor.
Amenities here include two libraries, three terraces, a fitness center, and a rooftop lounge. The leasing office is expected to open soon, and the FXFOWLE-designed building will likely be ready for occupancy sometime in September.
