Another day, another crazy stunt involving Donald Trump. At least today, so far as we know it, that stunt only tangentially involves the Republican presidential nominee.
Multiple sources are reporting that an unidentified man is currently scaling the 56th Street facade of Trump Tower using giant suction cups. The climber is about five stories above the ground, and some sources say the climber started on the building’s sub roof garden which is accessible to the public.
Other sources say that the man is carrying papers baring Trump’s name. What exactly the man’s motive is is still unclear. Police have closed down a portion of Fifth Avenue surrounding the building, DNAinfo reports.
The stunt, of course, has ignited Twitter. (And is being live streamed. UPDATE: that live stream has ended. Find a new one here.)

Michael Cohen, a VP in the Trump organization released this statement (h/t Gothamist) and had this to say: "This man performed a ridiculous and dangerous stunt. There's damage to the building and he caused the unnecessary deployment of New York's finest to protect his safety and the safety of everyone in the building. He's caused the shutdown of traffic on Fifth Avenue. I'm 100 percent certain the NYPD had better things to do. If Mr. Trump were here he'd be thanking law enforcement for the job they're doing."
