The Westfield mall within the World Trade Center Oculus officially opened on Tuesday, drawing in crowds to shop the many new stores that have moved in as well as to rejoice in the grand opening ceremonies. Several performances were underway by local talent groups, the School of Rock musical performers, and Leslie Odom Jr., from Hamilton, who all took to the stage. Eataly, Sephora, Aldo, Cole Haan, Kiehl’s, and Apple are just some of the many stores that opened their doors at their new home within Westfield.
Naturally, attendees shared photos and videos of the event on social, offering a sense of excitement and energy present for the new mall that has been 15 years in the making.
