The city and its diverse cultural and creative scene is often celebrated in many noble ways but a group named the City BLOCKS Culture Collective is looking to honor Greenwich Village in a really cool way.
The collective, who is no stranger to celebrating the architecture of various neighborhoods in various cities around the world, is looking to celebrate the historical folk and rock scenes in Greenwich Village during the 60s and 70s.
The project is calling on the community to support BLOCKS NYC to get the coloring book going. Rafi Ghanaghounian, creator of Blocks Collective has dedicated a Kickstarter page to encourage all people who share his passion for Greenwich Village to help celebrate this pivotal part of the neighborhood’s history.
