Luxe Chelsea condo sneaks onto the market with $11M maisonette

New, 3 comments

The maisonette comes with 1,323-square-foot terrace and a parking spot

Although its website says apartments won’t be hitting the market until 2017, it looks like the maisonette of Amirian Group’s new Chelsea condo The Twenty1 has snuck out early. The arrival is more in line with the developer’s earlier announcement that sales would launch in late July, though the listing for the maisonette is the first to appear, at least publicly.

The 5,644-square-foot apartment is asking $10.995 million, or $1,948 per square foot. The listing price falls towards the more expensive side of the development’s offerings, which will include condos asking from $5.5 million and duplexes asking from $17.8 million.

The maisonette will have four bedrooms and five bathrooms spread out over three floors, and a 1,323-square-foot private terrace. The maisonette comes with a private on-site parking spot, per the listing, as well as a cellar level rec room and media room. Each of the development’s nine condos will be designed by luxury interiors firm Garde Architecture.

The maisonette listing comes after Amirian Group announced in late July that it would be building from the ground up rather than converting a former four-story Hershey factory that stands at the site between Sixth and Seventh avenues on West 21st Street. Demolition plans for the existing building were filed on August 4.
