Kim and Kanye have been on the hunt for a New York City apartment that would serve as their home away from home, courtesy of Airbnb. It appears, by way of TMZ, that The Wests have landed in their new, glamorous digs: a 7,000-square-foot Tribeca penthouse that’s currently on the market for $24.5 million.
Kim wasted no time taking to Instagram to thank Airbnb for the cushy accommodations and show off its twinkling Hudson River views. The social media maven also took to Snapchat to tell Airbnb and her bajillion followers how obsessssssed she is with the five-bedroom, six-bathroom penthouse.
The Post says that The Wests will be in the apartment through late October, and use it as a home base during New York City Fashion Week and Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour which plays at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, September 6.
Kimye’s search for the perfect free multimillion dollar apartment courtesy of Airbnb was reportedly marred by luxury property owners’s fear that Kim and Kanye’s names as well as their association with Airbnb wouldn’t appeal to the high-end buyers they’re trying to nab.
In addition to the Tribeca penthouse they landed in, Kim and Kanye also reportedly scoped out the $28.5 million penthouse of Cary Tamarkin’s 10 Sullivan and the $29.9 million penthouse of 35 North Moore Street owned by former Brooklyn Nets player Deron Williams.
