Tribeca’s amenity-touting tower 111 Murray begins its skyward ascent

The tower, now three stories tall, will eventually rise 800 feet

It’s been just about a year since the condos of Tribeca’s bonkers amenity-touting 111 Murray Street hit the market, but the building itself barely stands three stories tall. New York YIMBY posted a photograph of the diminutive structure rising between Hudson Street and West Broadway. When complete, the Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed building will stand 58 stories and 800 feet tall. There’s a long way to go still, but the building’s expected to be complete in 2018.

StreetEasy shows 11 active sales in the 157-condo building, with prices ranging from $2.5 million for an 829-square-foot 1BR/1BA to $18.9 million for a 4,014-square-foot 5BR/6.5BA. In a little over a year, 70-percent of the condos in the building have gone into contract.

The Fisher Brothers, Witkoff, and New Valley-developed tower has made headlines for its suite of over-the-top amenities, including a private blowout studio for residents, a hammam, and concierge jet service. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
