Huge Ditmas Park Victorian comes with two porches for $1.3M

The huge home is filled with detail and awaits its next restoration

A Ditmas Park mini-mansion with much of its original details in place has hit the market asking $1.299 million, a not incredibly unreasonable ask. The fully detached home at 2201 Glenwood Road could use some sprucing up for aesthetic purposes, but overall is in wonderful condition. The listing description describes it as "the perfect opportunity for you and your architect to restore this incredible mansion."

There are seven bedrooms spread across four floors, three-and-a-half bathrooms, at least nine closets, and a large finished basement. Historic details that remain intact include the home’s original inlaid hardwood floors, central staircase, pocket doors, decorative molding, stained glass, Pierrepont mirror, and several others. As for outdoor space, there’s plenty–both a huge front and rear porch are included, the front yard needs a little TLC but still offers plenty of room, grass lies on either side of the house, and a backyard (though sadly, there aren’t any photos of it).
