The small one-bedroom's kitchenette tucks away for a seamless look

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

A tiny top-floor apartment in Park Slope just steps from Prospect Park is on the market for $495,000. The junior one-bedroom co-op at 53 Montgomery Place is most certainly petite, but includes thoughtful touches like a sliding door that conceals the kitchenette when not in use. Adding to the co-op’s square footage is a private rooftop terrace accessible from outside of the apartment. Not all will love the bedroom’s use of space, punctuated by two closets—the apartment’s only two—that pinch the rectangular bedroom in the middle, but fortunately they don’t have to stay. Maintenance runs a slim $560/month.
