Just a couple of weeks after sales launched on the highly-anticipated first residential building at Hudson Yards, 15 Hudson Yards, the developers have now unveiled renderings for the amenity spaces in the building. The New York Post got the exclusive first look at the seemingly never-ending list of high-end amenities at thecondo, which will bring 285 market-rate apartments and 106 affordable units to the burgeoning neighborhood.
The jaw-dropping set of amenities are for the most part spread out between the 50th and 51st floors of the 88-story building, which is being designed in collaboration between the Rockwell Group and Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
On the 50th floor, the uber-wealthy residents of the condo will be able to step into the building’s Aquatics Center, which comes with a 75-foot three-lane swimming pool, a pool shower, and a whirlpool. They’ll have access to a private spa and a yoga studio studio, and a 3,500-square-foot fitness center.
The floor above that will be fitted with amenities like a sound-proof screening and performance room that can seat up to 24 people, two private dining rooms that can each also seat just as many people, a wine tasting and storage room, and of course, a golf lounge that comes with a simulator.
But it seems that developers Related Companies and Oxford Property Group did not think that was enough, so they’ve also decided on a rooftop lounge, at some 900-odd feet above ground that will come with a fireplace, seating areas, and a dining space that can seat up to 18 people.
Will residents at 15 Hudson Yards ever need to leave their homes?
