Actor Mike Myers sells Tribeca condo at a $675K loss

UPDATE: After failing in his quest to flip his $14.675 million Tribeca condo a mere month after purchasing it, comedian Mike Myers settled for selling it at a $675,000 loss, reports The Real Deal. Myers sought to sell the stunning 4,241-square-foot space to the fine tune of $15 million but things didn’t go as planned so instead he sold the apartment to a buyer known simply as JJR443 LLC for $14 million.

It was all good just a week ago when actor/comedian Mike Myers bought himself a sprawling Tribeca condo for the grand price of $14.675 million. Somewhere between now and then, the actor and his family must caught a case of buyer’s remorse because just six days later, the Myers relisted the 4,241-square-foot unit.

The Observer reports that the Austin Powers star has opted to list the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom apartment for $15 million. Whether this was always the plan remains unknown, though it’s not much of a flip or investment pad for some of Myers’ repertoire.

The apartment is a beauty with plenty of chic, industrial charm. Some of its highlights include 14 arched windows, original beams and columns that have been restored, a huge open concept chef’s kitchen, a powder room, three walk-in closets, and access through a private elevator. Building amenities aren’t too shabby either. 443 Greenwich is LEED-certified and boasts a 71-foot swimming pool, wine storage room, a fitness center with Turkish bath, and a sweeping communal rooftop.
