It’s been two and a half years since Steven Soderbergh first listed his three-bedroom, full-floor Chelsea apartment on the market, and The Real Deal has now learned that the apartment has finally found a buyer.

The buyer shelled out $4.8 million on the spacious digs, which is just a little under Soderbergh’s original ask of $5 million.

The co-op spans 4,000 square feet and comes with north, south, and east exposures. It features custom stained oak floors, a washer and dryer in unit, access to a shared roof deck, and a keyed elevator entrance.

Some of the unique features here include a “anodized aluminum garage-style door,” that separates one of the bedrooms from the living room, and a “pin-drop quiet media room.” Aside from that, the master bedroom comes with attached spa bathroom fitted with a soaking tub and a steam shower.

Most recently Soderbergh directed the acclaimed HBO project, Behind the Candelabra, and Cinemax’s The Knick. He’s also one of the producers on the upcoming Ocean’s franchise spinoff Ocean’s Eight.

In early 2015, Soderbergh spent $8.5 million on a Tribeca duplex, which are probably now his main NYC digs considering he also sold his apartment at 155 Franklin Street in June 2014.
