Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

In the West Village, a one-bedroom co-op that would make an avid book reader happy is going for $900,000. Not only is it loaded with charm, its design has incorporated lots of built-in bookcases and shelves throughout the 700-square-foot space.

It all begins in the cozy living room where a fireplace place sits accompanied by a set of built-ins on either side. Two large windows look out onto Bethune Street and allow for some natural light. The windowed eat-in kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances that include a built-in fridge, dishwasher, and washer/dryer machine.

Two closets populate the large bedrooms along with—you guessed it—more built-in storage space. One of the bathroom’s two entrances is in the bedroom. There’s also a monthly maintenance fee of $1,293.
