What/Where: One bedroom, two bathroom co-op in Greenwich Village

Square Footage: N/A

Maintenance: $1,665

We’re already anticipating that this week’s Pricespotter apartment will prove controversial, thanks to its odd layout. The Greenwich Village co-op is a one bedroom, two-bathroom triplex (despite the floorplan, which suggests only two levels). The “entry” level holds the kitchen, a dining “bar,” and a guest bathroom; the second level, the living room; and the third level has the bedroom, which comes with an en-suite bathroom and an automatic blackout shade that separates it from the living room below.

The apartment also has modern, designer fixtures—Philippe Starck lighting, a Miele dishwasher—along with industrial-chic touches; the staircase leading to the bedroom, for example, is original to the apartment. Maintenance ain’t cheap, though, coming in at $1,665 per month.

So knowing all of this, how much do you think the place is asking?
