Renovated Brooklyn studio with efficient layout seeks $199K

It has rustic design touches and a low price

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It’s not every day that we see a cute, renovated apartment come onto the market for less than $200,000, but that’s exactly what we have here. Of course, there are some caveats: it’s a studio, and the revamp gave the place the vibe of a really fancy artisanal coffee shop (barn doors, herringbone tile backsplash in the kitchen, you get the idea).

But still, that asking price—$199,000, with just $435 in monthly charges—is nothing to scoff at. The place itself is a pretty good size for a studio, with sleeping and living spaces separated by a partition, and even a tiny breakfast bar in the kitchen.

Plus, the apartment is located in a co-op building in Kensington that also has a live-in super, bike storage, and regular stuff storage.
