The asking price for this week’s Pricespotter apartment— a 528-square-foot studio on the Upper East Side— is $699,000. Many of the commenters who guessed came close but ultimately, it was ZMC who hit the nail on the head.
For the most part, many commenters didn’t have too many complaints and agreed that the apartment delivered a crisp and clean layout. However, many did question whether or not the space was truly 528 square feet and a lot of folks agreed that $1,486 was a bit high for monthly common charges. “[I]t’s nice and clean and functional, and has a good location. But those monthlies are high,” said NYCsince1983.
The apartment building does happen to boast a great location along West 71st Street near the intersection of Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. It’s also just a block away from the 1, 2, and 3 trains and conveniently located near a host of retail stores and restaurants.
