Despite several price cuts, One Brooklyn Bridge Park’s penthouse still reigns supreme

Once commanding $32 million, the penthouse atop One Brooklyn Bridge Park, is back, albeit it’s now smaller in size, and is asking significantly less than its original ask. Still, the price cut has not dislodged this apartment from its position atop Brooklyn’s most expensive homes for sale list.

When it first came on the market in 2014, the listing spanned three floors of the building, and measured 11,000 square feet. At that time, the sale also included an unconnected apartment below, and two deeded parking spots.

This current sales listing only features the penthouse unit (a duplex), and comes with one deeded parking spot. However, that’s nothing to scoff at. The 8,500-square-foot condo still boasts a 3,500-bottle wine room, a home theater, a gym equipped with a rock climbing wall, and a 750-square-foot terrace on the upper level.

Overall this apartment features five bedrooms, four and half bathrooms, and offers up views of the Manhattan skyline. For all of that it’s asking $19.5 million—down from its $21.5 million ask in May this year, and further down from its $23.88 million ask last year.
