In Park Slope, Midwood Investment and Development along with Meltzer Associates have teamed up to replace a former parking garage at 800 Union Street with a boutique six-story apartment building. The rental development offers just 28 residences with monthly asking prices that mimic those of Manhattan apartments.

The apartments are a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedrooms and start around 1,000 square feet so they are anything but small. The open floor plans contribute expansiveness of the homes and boast finishes like beamed ceilings, light colored hardwood floors, and oversized windows that provide a decent amount of natural light. There are a few apartments with private outdoor spaces and some of the pricier units are configured as duplexes. Prices go from $4,775/month for a one-bedroom to $8,770/month for a three-bedroom.

It wouldn’t be right if there weren’t sleek, fancy kitchens on hand but luckily there is. Each one has been befitted with custom walnut cabinetry, large islands, and KitchenAid stainless steel appliances.

The building offers a myriad of luxury amenities that include an attended lobby, a fitness center, a yoga studio, a resident’s lounge, a children’s playroom, party/game room, and even a dog spa. The building’s landscaped rooftop has been optimized for entertaining, with lounge chairs, barbecue stations, a fireplace, and views of Manhattan’s skyline.
