Swap spooky stories from people that live in Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Astana, and Yangon

With Halloween just days away, the festivities are already underway across the city. In a few days, the annual Village Halloween Parade will fill up the streets of Manhattan with costumed costumes but if you’re looking to for an alternative on Halloween night, there’s something cool happening in Times Square.

The TimesSquare_Portal, a seven-week interactive art installation that was installed on October 10, will host “Ghost Stories,” where visitors can exchange spooky stories with people from around the world including cities like Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Astana, and Yangon. The gold shipping container is equipped with immersive audio-visuals and will host the exclusive event only on Halloween night from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to hear want a ghost tale from Myanmar or Kazakhstan, here’s your chance. After Halloween, the portal will return to hosting special conversations, meals, and musical performances from now through November 21.
