Real Housewives of New York City star and aspiring high-end home flipper Bethenny Frankel sold her Tribeca condo—with the help of high-kicking celebrity broker and frequent collaborator Fredrik Eklund—in one day last year, but that bit of real-estate magic hasn’t extended to her onetime Soho apartment.
Frankel first listed the two-bedroom condo in February for $5.25 million, but it hasn’t had any takers; it’s now on the rental market with a price tag of $13,000/month. (It’s also gotten a slight price chop on the sales side; it’s now going for $4.95 million.)
Frankel also switched brokers, from Eklund to Douglas Elliman’s other celeb agent, Raphael de Niro. But it’s unlikely that there was any foul play there; Frankel and Eklund are co-starring in a Bravo reality series about flipping homes, with one of their properties that will likely be featured on the show—a condo at 10 Madison Square West—hitting the market a few months ago.
In any case, the particulars of the place haven’t changed; as we previously reported, “the loft itself, located within one of Soho’s historic cast-iron buildings, has plenty of nice features, including an enormous living room with a wood-burning fireplace, two large bedrooms, smart home technology (including Crestron touch panels and a Sonos system), an enviably large walk-in closet, and a marble-clad spa-like bathroom.” It spans nearly 2,400 square feet, and also has a small balcony.
