Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
There’s a lot to like about this charming Brooklyn Heights co-op, including its price: it’s asking just $550,000, with monthly maintenance fees of $972. That’s a bit of an increase from the last time the place sold, nearly a decade ago; but it also got a bevy of improvements in the years since.
Chief among those is the built-in shelving in the living room, with space for both books and pantry items. The latter matches the kitchen renovation, with a rich blue tile backsplash and new cabinets. (The kitchen also has new appliances, granite counters, and a pretty large sink.)

But it’s not too shabby in terms of space as it is. The common area has enough space for a dining room table, in addition to a dedicated living room; the bedroom, meanwhile, has three closest, one of which is a walk-in.
Overall, it’s a nice space in a great location—it’s in historic Brooklyn Heights, close to several transit lines and Cadman Plaza Park. For those in search of a good starter apartment, this might just be the place.
